Most recently, Cushing’s work has been featured in Ignota’s ‘Full Moon Journal’ and ‘Nervous Systems’ at ICA. Solo shows include Two Queens Gallery (Leicester) and Q T Gallery (York), and group shows include The Crypt Gallery (London), French Riviera (London), Kunstpodium T (Tilburg), Anise Gallery (London), A Place to Rest (Devon), Worlding Projects (London), Standard Studios (Nottingham), Surface Gallery (Nottingham), and Bohunk Institute (Nottingham). Her film work has screened at Nottingham Contemporary (Nottingham) and the Institute of Coding (London) with DIGI-GXL, whilst her writing has been featured in DAZED Digital and ‘Transformer: A Rebirth of Wonder’ published by The Vinyl Factory. Cushing holds a master’s degree from Slade School of Fine Art, UCL and is a recipient of the Sarabande Foundation Award (2023).
Cushing has worked with curatorial teams at DAZED, 180 Studios, ICA, and Ignota Books, including the role of Curatorial Assistant to Jefferson Hack during ‘Transformer: A Rebirth of Wonder’. She was an original co-founder of arts project space Chaos Magic under the mentorship of artist Joey Holder.
